Scope and Content Note: The collection consists of elements for a program titled, Ben T. Epps: the Legacy of Georgia’s First Aviator, which was produced by the UGA Center for Continuing Education and William J. "Bill" Evelyn. VHS cassette of the full program is available at the Media Desk as VHS 3843.1.
Biographical Note: "The father of the state’s aviation, Ben Epps - inventor, mechanic, and aviator - was the first Georgian to build and fly an airplane.
