The collection consists of approximately 150 hours of footage that chronicles Savannah, Georgia, the surrounding area and some of the key people responsible for its preservation and prosperity. Most of the footage is b-roll, lots of aerial views of the coast and the city showing the canopy, industry, neighborhoods, etc. There are many hours of perfect light shots of all the districts and outlying areas.

The collection consists of a film made in 1936 about Cordele, Georgia, plus outtakes. It and others like it were made by itinerant filmmakers, a niche market in filmmaking from the 1920s through the 1950s. These men traveled various regions of the country with camera and film, usually partnering with Chambers of Commerce to photograph people and businesses in town, then to show the film at the local movie theater where townsfolk flocked to pay to see themselves on the screen. This film in particular was made by itinerant photographer H.C. Kunkleman for his company, Pacific Film Productions, based in Erie, Pennsylvania. Included are scenes of the town of Cordele and its citizens (police officers, barbers, etc), local schools and students (O'neal Grade School and Northern Heights School), and local businesses (a cinema, Cordele Banking Company, LeRoys Cafe, a barber shop, Bob's Place). There are DVD viewing copies as well as one 35mm soundtrack negative, one 35mm picture negative, two 35mm fine grain prints, three 35mm answer prints, and one DigiBeta master.

The collection consists of videotape entries submitted to the Southeastern Regional Emmy Awards for consideration of awards for local television broadcasting.

This collection contains approximately 2000 1/4" open reels and cartridges (or carts) from the University of Georgia student-run radio station WUOG. The recordings run from 1973 until approximately 2003 and contain original programs and recordings. Some of the programs in the collection feature performances by REM, the B52s, Pylon, and Love Tractor, among others.

The collection consists of home movies from the Rossiter family of Savannah, Georgia. There is footage of a St. Patrick's Day parade in Savannah, as well as movies of the family having a picnic and playing on the beach. Also included is footage of travel in Europe; locations include Luzern, Paris, East Berlin, West Berlin, Venice, Travis Field, Ireland and England.

In 2001, Lisa Friedman York met W.W. Law and was inspired to create a documentary about his life. This collection comprises recorded interviews with Mr. Law and other Savannah area leaders, conducted by historian Cliff Kuhn, recorded for that purpose. The documentary has not been completed. Interviewees include: W.W. Law, Aaron Buschbaum, Dr. Clyde W. Hall, Edna Branch Jackson, Ida Mae Bryant, Rev. Edward Lambrellis, Richard Shinholster, Tessie Rosanna Law, Dr. Amos C. Brown, Mercedes Arnold Wright, Carolyn Coleman, E.J. Josey, Walter J. Leonard, and Judge H. Sol Clark.

Recordings of interviews conducted as part of research for Greene's books: Praying for Sheetrock (1991), politics and civil rights in McIntosh County (Ga.); Last Man Out (1996), a mine disaster in Springhill, Nova Scotia; The Temple Bombing (2003), the bombing of a synagogue in Atlanta in 1958; There is No Me Without You (2006), AIDS and orphans in Ethiopia; and No Biking in the House Without a Helmet (2011), a humorous look at life with nine children.

The collection consists of home movies of Nelle Epps and her family, dating from 1938-1970. There is footage of a pool and a garden, as well as some footage of Athens, Georgia.
