Includes University of Georgia campus dorms being built and one completed along Baxter Street and several other buildings. This land is where the Linnentown neighborhood once stood, a victim of urban renewal. Other Athens footage includes homes in "Tara Way" (now part of Forest Heights subdivision) and gas appliance building across from hospital on Prince Avenue. Reel consists of various Georgia town signs, gas co. offices, homes or apartments or buildings, and their gas meters or fenced gas lines in: Brunswick, Jesup, Hinesville, Ft. Stewart, Baxley, Hazlehurst Mills, McRae, Eastman, Augusta, Athens, Atlanta, Rome, Berry College, Batey State Hospital, Rome Kraft [paper mill--black smoke coming out of smokestack], Chickamauga, Flintstone, Acworth.
