Biographical Note: Michael Rabin (May 2, 1936 – January 19, 1972) was an American violinist. As an infant, he demonstrated musical aptitude and he began studying the violin at age seven under Ivan Galamian. He debuted at Carnegie Hall in 1951 at age 15. His recordings of Paganini concertos remain important.
