Scope and Content Note: Includes recordings of speeches at the Hungry Club Forum, episodes of the series "Take 30," interviews, and other programs produced by the Association and its memberes.
Biographical Note: The Atlanta Association of Black Journalists was founded in 1976 to promote diversity in the field of journalism. The organization supports African American journalists in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The organization encourages excellence with an awards program and annual banquet.

Provenance: Found at Repo in proximity to SE Emmy and IRIS Awards tapes gathered by the late Worth McDougald. Assumed to be AABJ awards entries he took in.
